SilentGamerZ Capture the Flag - Official Server Rules

The SilentGamerZ Capture the Flag gaming community, under the values of respect, honor and honesty, have decided to abide themselves by these set of rules, with the intention of keeping the server under the wiseful guide of justice and good judgement, in order to maintain a healthy behaviour in the community.

The following rules are exclusive for Capture the Flag, and are subsidiary to the Official Community Rules. 

 

1. RACISM -

    It is strictly prohibited. Don't play with own and others religion. Any form of racism in server is punishable offence. 
    As punishment you will be Banned (Permanent).

2. DISCRIMINATION / INSULT / SWEARING -

    Respect all to get respect from all as well. Any form of Discrimination, Insult, or Swearing is strictly prohibited and punishable offence. If proven of trash talking, insulting, slander, or falsely defame any other person with the intention of causing psychological harm and violating said person's right to honor the offender will receive punishment. 
    As punishment you will be Warned/Gagged/Banned (30 mins to 1 hour on spot).
    If offence will be repeated then the lengths of the punishment will be increased by only Staff+ proportional to the damage caused. Gagged/Banned (1 day to Permanent).

3. HACKING / CHEATING -

   Any type of hack / cheat such as Aimbot, Wallhack, Speedhack, etc in game is strictly forbidden and punishable offence. 
   As punishment you will be Banned (Permanent).

4. MACRO / SCRIPTING -

   Using Macro or any type of script to get advantage in game is strictly bprohibited and punishable offence. 
   As punishment you will be Banned (Permanent).

5. CAMPING / SKYWALKING / SKYWALLING –

   Camping / Sky-walking/walling will result in a temporary ban.

   Any type of Sky-walking/walling is prohibited. 
   As punishment you will be Warned/Slay/Banned (30 mins to 2 hr)
   

   Camping more than 30 sec in one spot with or without a long-distance weapon is forbidden for every player.  Except the player is holding a stolen flag or healing on his/her own flag, this includes spawn-camping (camping in areas near enemy spawn point, killing them as soon as they re-spawn). Any person engaging in a camping behavior will be punished by an admin on the spot. 
   As punishment you will be Warned/Slapped/Slay/Kicked/Banned (30 mins to 2 hr).
   

   If offence will be repeated then the lengths of the punishment will be increased by only Staff+ proportional to the damage caused. Gagged/Banned (1 day to Permanent).

6. ADVERTISING -

   Advertising of others server's  / community's name, ip, website link in your IGN(In game name) or chat is forbidden. 
   As punishment you will be Warned/Kicked/Banned (30 mins).

7. GHOSTING / LANing -

    It is prohibited in server. Any type of ghosting / LANing is punishable offence. 
    As punishment you will be Warned/Kicked/Banned (30 mins to Permanent).

8. SPAMMING (Mic/Chat) -

   Do not spamming over Mic /  Chat with useless/ trash talk or sounds. It is prohibited and punishable offence. 
   As punishment you will be Warned/Gagged/Kicked/Banned. (30 mins to 1 week)

9. SPRAYS -

   Any inappropriate, sensitive, or offensive sprays are not allowed in server. 
   As punishment you will be Banned (1 week to Permanent).

10. BUGS / GLITCHING -

   Server/Map bugs is a problem. If you find this then report it. But using server/map bugs to get advantages and glitching in game is strictly prohibited and punishable offence. 
   As punishment you will be Banned. (30 mins to 1 day on spot).
   

   If offence will be repeated then the lengths of the punishment will be increased by onlyStaff+ proportional to the damage caused. Gagged/Banned (1 week to Permanent).

11. TEAMING -

   Teaming with opponent players to get advantages in game or increasing personal POINTS is strictly prohibited and punishable offence. 
   As punishment you will be Warned/Banned (1 hour to Permanent).
   *Points will be reset. (If needed)

12. USE OF SPECIAL KNIFE/WEAPON ON OWN TEAM MATE -

   Using freeze or thunder knife ability or any special knife/weapon on your own teammate is prohibited. 
   As punishment you will be Warned/Banned (15 mins to 30 mins).

13. IMPERSONATING -

   Impersonating any Member, Server Admin, or Staff, or stealing their tag/nickname for pretend to be same person is forbidden. 
   As punishment you will be Banned (30 mins).

14. SABOTAGING –

   Any person who has been proven of sabotaging his/her own team by purposefully returning the enemy flag or changing teams to return your previous team's flag. 
   As punishment you will be Warned/Banned (30 mins to 1 hour)

15. AFK -

   Being AFK in the server or in Spectator mode  will result in a kick when the server is full.

16. RECONNECT SERVER -

   Reconnect the server after got killed every time is prohibited and punishable offence. 
   As punishment you will be Warned/Banned (30 mins to 1 week.)

The rules will be divided in Principles and General Rules: Principles are the main guideline of this normativity, and is designed to be a permanent guiding light for rule-making; and the General Rules are the specific code of behaviour which every player must abide themselves by.

 

Principles

Article I. Rule abrogation

A rule or a set of rules can be replaced, added or derogated at any time. Derogation of a rule does not add back rules that may have been replaced by the derogated rule. Every time the rules are changed players will be informed by the administration.

 

Article II. Abuse of power

No rule can ever allow the practice of admin abuse or the omission of admin duties. The server will not condone an abusive behaviour from its administration team, and this will be enforced by the Staff+, Team Leader, the Server Manager and the Co-Server Managers.

 

Article III. Retroactivity of the rules

The rules will be modified according to the current server situation. The addition of new rules which gives special benefits to players will be accepted and never negatively affect past player's actions.

 

Article IV. Analogy of the rules

Rules must not be analogically interpreted in any circunstance.

Article V. Presumption of innocence

Any player under accusation of breaking any of the rules will be presumed innocent unless proof of it is claimed by any player of the community, only then the player will be punished, with the capacity of presenting a ban appeal, where Staff+, Demo Reviewers, or any player with the permission of the former two will check the validity of said proof.

 

Article VI. Cordiality, order and fair play

Any rule which contradicts the paradigms of cordiality, orden and fair play within the server will be null by-effect.

 

Article VII. Obligation of supplying the defects or flaws of the rules

Staff+, Demo Reviewers, Team Leader, Server Managers, Co-Server Managers and Admins will not stop delivering justice because of any flaw in the rules. In those cases, good judgement and principles of real life law must be applied.

 

Article VIII. Voids in the rules

Every player in the community has the obligation of reporting any flaws or voids in the rules to any member of the SilentGamerZ team. Admins have the same obligation to report to their higher-ranking members.

 

General Rules

Article 1. Cheating

Any person who has been proven of using cheats in the game, such as wallhacks, aimbots, speedhacks, or third-party programs destined to cheat in the game will be punished with a permanent ban.

 

Article 2. Discrimination

Any person who has been proven of being racist, xenophobic, homophobic, or engaging in any kind of discriminating behaviour with the intention of causing psychological harm will receive a warning by the community officers on the first offense, or gagged/banned if the behaviour has been repeated. The lengths of the punishment will be proportional to the damage caused.

 

Article 3. Toxic Behaviour

Any person who has been proven of trashtalking, insulting, slander, or falsely defame any other person with the intention of causing psychological harm and violating said person's honour will receive a warning by the community officers on the first offense, or gagged/banned if the behaviour has been repeated. The lengths of the punishment will be proportional to the damage caused.

 

Article 4. Sabotaging

Any person who has been proven of sabotaging his/her own team by purposefully returning the enemy flag, changing teams to return your previous team's flag, or destroying your own team's sentry gun will be punished with a ban of 1 hour.

 

Article 5. Spectating

Staying in the spectator's team excessively is forbidden under every circumstance. Any person who has been on the spectator's team any longer than three minutes will be kicked by any present admin in the server.

 

Article 6. Camping

Excessively camping in one spot with or without a long-distance weapon is forbidden for every player, except if the player is holding a stolen flag or healing in his/her own flag, this includes spawncamping (camping in areas near enemy spawn point, killing them as soon as they respawn). Any person engaging in a camping behaviour will be punished by an admin on the spot.*

 

*Players with a long-distance weapon is expected to roam different areas in a defensive play-style. Admins are expected to follow the correct procedure, which is a written warning, then up to three slaps without health punishment on the player, then a slay, then a kick-out of the server, and, finally, a 15-minute ban, each stage of the procedure according to the player's noncompliance of the warnings.
